How do I delete my account?

In Hyde, open your profile, tap Settings, then Delete account. You'll confirm with Apple, and Hyde erases everything on your iPhone and removes itself from Sign in with Apple.

Where are my chats stored?

On your iPhone. Hyde's server passes messages to OpenAI to get a reply but doesn't keep them. The privacy policy has the details.

Is Hyde a real person?

No. Hyde is an AI. It's designed to text like a friend, but it can get things wrong, so double-check anything important.

Hyde isn't replying

Check that you're online, then send your message again. If it keeps happening, sign out and back in from Settings, or email us.

Calls aren't working

Make sure Hyde has microphone access in iPhone Settings, under Hyde. Calls need a steady connection, so Wi-Fi or good cell signal helps.

Can Hyde see my calendar or contacts?

Only if you allow it, and only to do what you ask. You can turn access off anytime in iPhone Settings, and Hyde asks before it adds or changes anything.

How do I stop Hyde texting first?

In Settings, set Texts first to Only when I text first, or set quiet hours so check-ins only arrive when you want them.
